The Arts
City of Hobart Art Prize
Moorilla's partnership with the Hobart City Council is an important initiative, providing benefit for both the winning artist and Moorilla itself. Included in our sponsorship of the Art Prize is the Moorilla Winter Collection - Tasmania Prize. This $5000 acquisitive prize was established to honour the memory of Jason Winter, Moorilla Estate's late wine maker. It is open to artists who are selected for the final City of Hobart Art Prize exhibition and who were either born, are presently residing in, or have resided for a period of five years or more, in Tasmania. The winner's work then features on
the label of the "Winter Collection" premium wine for that year.
