Muse Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Drinking Guide

Drink 2017–2038

Our ‘homage to Bordeaux’ remains a cult wine. It cellars for decades with a bouquet, flavour profile and structure that is familiar to lovers of the wines of southern France. We love it and think it offers great value. Tragically, we lost almost half the fruit to the cool weather and wild winds of spring and early summer but that hasn’t affected the quality. The precious remainder combines beauty, power and finesse. The perfumed bouquet has aromas of ripe currants, berries, Provençal herbs, olives and French oak. It’s concentrated, silky and textured, with ample fine tannins and bright natural acidity. Decant in its youth and cellar well for further complexity and integration.
