Field blend 2025
With its pretty cherry-red hue, this thoughtfully crafted still wine brings together Chardonnay Musqué, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon blanc and Shiraz in a beautifully delicate blend. The nose offers notes of strawberry, raspberry and citrus, underpinned by a flinty minerality. A fresh and vibrant palate follows, balancing bright fruit with savoury spice—apple pie, quince and sour cherry. Bottled without added sulphur, fining or filtration.

Winemaker Notes
We put in much effort to make this wine from different parcels of fruit that come from all the different areas of our vineyard. By combining warmer and cooler areas we seek both fresh and fruity, as well as savoury spicey characters in the wine. The use of aromatic varieties was specifically chosen for fresh and fruity aromas while having the spice and texture of Shiraz counterbalance. Having a colour that is more like Gamay was a main feature of our blend as well. Often field blends, natural wines, and low sulphur wines can be harsh and full of many unpleasant and unsavoury characters. Our hope was to show that by putting in effort, care, and love in making a natural and no sulphur wine you can still end up with a fresh, fruit driven, pretty, delicate and fault free experience that speaks loudly of our Tasmanian terroir and environment. The wine is an expression of our whole vineyard with many of it’s components working together to make a whole.
