Extra Brut Sparkling Rosé 2014—Magnum
All elegance and generosity, this vintage pours just to the coral side of pink, with a rich, medium bead. Get your nose in it and you'll be transported to an orchard (apple) that's seen recent rain, enticing you towards a palate of strawberry leaf, vanilla pods, rosehip and a balancing salinity.

Winemaker Notes
Similar to the Extra Brut, our intention with the rosé is more targeted towards being an aperitif in style rather than rich and broad. By retaining freshness of fruit and acidity in the base wines we use extended lees contact to compliment and enrich the wine. Reductive handling and no malolactic are key to achieving this balance so the wine style is outside of the mainstream. Red wine is added pre-tirage to fix the tannin profile of the wine which is mostly blended from our pressings components. This means that the wine is slightly darker than others versions, but with more tannins this wine gains versatility in food matchings.
