Sauvignon 2020

Muse

Sauvignon 2020

Clean, bright and gold at first glance, and beyond. Delicate tropical notes on the nose are balanced by gooseberry and a bit of honeyed grass, while the palate zings with  lemon-and-grapefruit acidity that toasts and richens towards the back of the palate. A bright, balanced gem that’ll pair wonderfully with food—maybe some prosciutto and melon and a hard cheese.

Made to sit between a Sauvignon blanc and a fumé blanc, which is why we simply call it a Sauvignon.

Layered, complex, textured
Aaron Brasher, The Real Review

Winemaker Notes

As with previous releases, I’ve made this wine to sit somewhere in between a typical Sauvignon blanc and a Fumé blanc, which is why we simply call it a Sauvignon. A lot of effort is always put into making a wine that is interesting, funky and complex, while remaining approachable—texture and structure are paramount. The wine is a blend of numerous batches of stainless steel-fermented and barrel-fermented wines.
