Our Pinot gris has developed a fine reputation for complexity and texture. Made in small batches, great effort goes to crafting a wine that provides a balance between fruit, spice, mineral and wild fermentation funkiness. Grapes are hand-picked when ripe to offer both fruit and floral flavours. Extended skin contact, wild fermentation and oak maturation each add structure and character. The bouquet of 2016 is fresh with apples and pears and rich with wild honey, nuts and straw. Intense and long flavours reveal texture, fine tannins and natural acidity. Careful cellaring will reward those who enjoy mature Pinot gris.
